Every-other Tuesday* we have an All-Blues Jam at the Bayou, hosted by Butch Haas. It generally kicks up around 8:00 pm and runs until around 11:30 pm.

Musicians that show up to play run the full range from full-time professionals, to garage bands, to novices getting up on the stage for the first time. Many of the musicians that come out to play are members of bands that have played at the Bayou on weekends ... this is a chance to see them with no cover charge. It's all-blues and admission is free.

For Musicians: The sign-up sheet for musicians comes out at 7:30 pm and Butch arranges musicians into groups that play 15 to 20 minute sets. If you have someone that you prefer to play with, Butch will try to accommodate. Often there's time to play two rotations so plan to stick around after your first set.

We provide a house drum set and Butch provides a couple of amps so there's no need to bring the heavy gear.

* We have open mic nights on the alternate Tuesday nights. Plan to come out for that as well. |
